My name is Liv Cheng and I am a professional golfer aspiring to compete on the LPGA tour representing New Zealand.
Life as a professional golfer requires a large investment due to the costly entry fees and the process of going through qualifying school. That’s where you come in! I’m seeking your help to fund this journey of mine to live my dream of playing golf at the highest level. All the money raised will go towards funding for tournament entry fees and traveling expenses such as flights. I invite you on my journey on making golf my career so please check out my story. I greatly appreciate any support!

Many thanks,
Liv

Exciting news! I just qualified for the 2016 U.S. Women’s Open!
25 different qualifing sites all over the United States and the world are held to determine the field.
There were 2 spots available. The 36 hole qualifier I played was held at Woodlands Gary Player Course in Houston Texas. I had rounds of 75 68 for a total of 143 (-1).
Gabby Lopez won the qualifier with 140. Three of us were tied at 143. There was a playoff to determine the second qualifying spot. I survived 5 playoff holes to earn the last spot.

My finish at the RACV Masters boosted my Rolex Ranking (world ranking) to second best kiwi in New Zealand. This ranking has me qualified for the field for Rio Olympics, however, official rankings will be taken on July 11th. So lots more golf before then!

Thank you to everyone who came out to my fundraiser on November 10th! A big thank you to Pakuranga for hosting the event and Sam Thomas in the Proshop.co.nz
I raised $1875NZD from entry fees of 75 people who participated. Along with $650NZD from raffle ticket sales. This total of $2525NZD will help go towards the LPGA Qualifying School entry fee of $5500 USD.
